Business Process Consultant
Key Role:
Provide technical project management to the oversight and delivery of IT operations to a major headquarters in the Army Market. Provide consultation and strategic guidance to client senior staff in project planning, tracking, and risk management and analyze process and reengineering, with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment. Create process change by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating these changes to impacted business systems teams. Recommend and facilitate quality improvement efforts and support the enterprise level IT strategy development, technology road map development, technology portfolio analysis, and establishment of governance bodies and processes. Work with the leadership team to identify, analyze, and implement client requirements to meet IT objectives, provide material, lead client briefings, and provide project status to stakeholders daily. Monitor and direct the workflow of smaller strategic consulting projects or segments of larger projects, including the design of project plans. Support practice development initiatives and supervise and review the work of junior personnel. Leverage business analysis, problem solving expertise, and knowledge of the client's businesses, identify issues and concerns, and propose advice, as needed.
Basic
Qualifications:
10
years of experience with strategic management and IT Program Management
7
years of experience with delivering professional services in the areas of transformation, change management, program management, and performance management
4
years of experience with managing complex development projects
3
years of experience with business process improvement and leveraging a formal methodology, including Lean Six Sigma
Experience in leading, planning, and managing complex tasks with daily client interaction
Experience with delivering executive level facilitation, coaching, and mentoring
Experience with building and maintaining client relationships in a team based government or management consulting environment
Secret clearance
BA or BS degree
Program Management Institute (PMI) Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Additional
Qualifications:
Experience with Army Signal Corps, including 25A or FA53
Ability to be a self starter and thrive in a fast paced environment
Possession of excellent leadership, analysis, and data gathering skills
Possession of excellent oral and written communications skills
MBA or MS degree in Business, Management, Cyber, or an IT related field
ITIL v.3 Foundations Certification
