Senior IT Systems Solution Architect
WORK LOCATION: Fort Knox, KY
Purpose of the Position: Provide assistance and subject matter expertise for accurate estimate of effort to PeopleSoft modules and upgrades. Must have experience in mentoring and managing junior or less experience PeopleSoft developers with excellent client communications skills. Proven ability to analyze business requirements and translate them to technical requirements.
Description of Duties:

Provide support of Windows server environment.

Must be able to configure, troubleshoot, maintain, and document all aspects of a PeopleSoft system including Data Mover, messaging, security locking strategies, PS Query, metadata, and monitoring.

Must be able to apply best practices in modifying and securing the environment to ensure the application environment meets All Information Assurance requirements.

Must provide technical support for incident response and reporting as well as provide on-call support as needed.

Configure, maintain and support PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM), Weblogic, and Tuxedo applications and domains

Apply PeopleSoft, Weblogic and Tuxedo patches/updates after released through proper change management channels

Maintain documentation on all application configurations and settings

Configure and maintain process schedulers, load balancing and the Integration Broker

Assist with code promotion from dev/test through proper change management channels

Open support tickets with IBM as needed

Team player, strong written and verbal communications skills

Ability to troubleshoot problems, work as both a team and/or as a self-directed individual, client-facing experience, self-disciplined and ability to multi- task

Ability to train other team members on the applications, proper procedures, problem isolation

Ability to develop instructions in a logical, detailed flow

Qualifications:
Minimum
Qualifications:

Completed Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field. Four years of additional general experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

5 years of technical experience

Experience in applications software development for complex business applications using Agile Development methodology and techniques are desirable.

Experience in Network operations and design, switches, routers, and firewalls.

Knowledge of ISO/ITIL processes and documentation standards is desired

Possess a SECRET clearance or have the ability to get one. Must have at least an interim SECRET to begin work on the contract

Must be able to obtain a Security
as well as a related certification relevant to the computing environment.

Must be enrolled in Comptia's Continuing Education program.

Must sign privileged level access agreement
