Summary:
The FSO manages security procedures, compliance with security procedures and protocols, and administers the facility and personnel clearances associated with the facility. The FSO will work with the Security Manager to develop and implement physical security plan for the facility.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:

Telecom and IT security;
Responsible to the Task Order Project Manager (PM) for project physical technical data security;
Personnel security clearances.
Develop and implement local compliance procedures in alignment with AR 190-13, AR 380-5, AR 380-67, DoD Regulation (Reg) 5000.1- R, and DoD Regulation 5200.2-R, Fort Knox and The Tatitlek Corporation policies and procedures.
Coordinate and observe all DoD and Program audits and ensure compliance with the AR 190-13, AR 380-5, AR 380-67, DoD Regulation (Reg) 5000.1- R, and DoD Regulation 5200.2-R and customer requirements. Ensure all corrective actions are implemented.
Report any violations to the appropriate Government agencies and company offices.
Perform administrative duties as required, including personnel training and periodic reports required by Defense Security Service (DSS), personnel incident reports, Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) and Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (EQIP) data entry for clearances.
Mark, handle, and store classified information
Handle access requests and authorizations
Coordinate classified visit requests / meetings
PHYSICAL SECURITY:
Ensure all security threats or concerns are reported to the Security Manager for Fort Knox immediately.
Non - Essential Duties:

Qualifications - Experience, Education and Licensure:
Required:
US Citizen/US Person required.
Bachelor's Degree preferred; minimum five (5) years equivalent work experience is acceptable.
Current Secret security clearance required.
5 years of direct experience with AR 190-13, AR 380-5, AR 380-67, DoD Regulation (Reg) 5000.1- R, and DoD Regulation 5200.2-R preferred.
Aerospace / Defense industry experience preferred.
Strong understanding of DoD security issues.

Job is performed primarily in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. Walking and/or driving to dispersed work locations is required, which includes outdoor locations. The project is located in north-central Kentucky, where weather conditions can range from sub-zero temperatures with icy roads to 100
temperatures and high (90+) relative humidity.

As a condition of employment, candidates for posted positions must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
