About the Position: This position is located in the Managed Care Division, Ireland Army Community Hospital, Fort Knox, KY. Plans and administers the management advisory services for all aspects of improving management operations for the Managed Care Division and the TRICARE Program (i.e., accumulating cos and workload data, conducting management studies and analyzing resource utilization data. Located just 40 miles south of Louisville and 17 miles north Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Fort Knox encompasses some 109,000 acres in three beautiful Kentucky counties. Fort Knox has a population of over 40,000 Soldiers, Family members and Civilian employees. There are many sightseeing and recreational opportunities in the Fort Knox area and the cost of living is very reasonable. Sightseeing and recreational opportunities include Churchill Downs (site of the Kentucky Derby), the Center for Performing Arts, the Louisville Bats baseball team (a triple-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds), world-famous bourbon distilleries, first-rate hunting and fishing sites, and sweeping, scenic hiking trails and driving tours. Determine appropriate source of data to be used on management request.
Use a broad assortment of software systems such as Consolidate Health Care Systems (CHCS), Command Management System (CMS) to ensure adequate data.
Provide technical guidance to clinical departments regarding reports of medical management activities.
Participate in typical programs as management improvement, productivity improvement, management controls and long range planning applying management analysis techniques.
Compile information regarding admissions, dispositions, occupied beds by clinical service, clinic visits by patient category and departments in support of Manage Care initiatives.

Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as:
For the GS-07: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service which includes work that involves experience in assist in reviewing and analyzing policies,researching records and reports for a managed care division. Assist in compiling a wide variety of health care data for a managed care division.
For GS-09: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes work that involves experience in using a broad assortment of software systems such as the Consolidate Health System (CHCS),Command Management Systems (CMS);Assist in preparing correspondence, management studies, concept plans, statistical data and fact sheets to support analysis, findings and request; and researching and collecting data to formulate manpower estimates.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency (knowledge, skills, abilities) in the following areas:

GS-09 Level - Master''s or equivalent graduate degree or two (2) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, or completion of all requirements for an LL.B or J.D. degree from an accredited college or university.
GS-07 Level - One full year of graduate level education OR Superior Academic Achievement (S.A.A) - A Bachelor''s degree with Class Standing being in the upper third of the graduating class in the college, university, or major subdivision; Grade-point average (G.P.A.) 3.0 or higher out of a possible 4.0 (B or better) as recorded on their official transcript, or 3.5 or higher out of a possible 4.0 (B+ or better) based on the average of the required courses completed in the major field or the required courses in the major field completed during the final 2 years of the curriculum. Education must demonstrate the competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
