Inspector General with Security Clearance

Dutieso Conduct and participate in performing on-site systematic and follow-up inspections, inquiries and investigation of subordinate command organizations.
o Develop recommendations as to the required corrective action or revision in methods and procedures.
o Prepare formal report of findings citing specific examples and substantiation thereof as to violations, errors and unsound practices in each case.
o Identify all issues and specific actions needed to correct injustices and eliminate detrimental conditions to protect the best interest of the organizationRequirements Conditions of Employmento Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
o Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
o Must attend and successfully complete the Inspector General (IG) Course conducted by DAIG, in accordance with Army Regulation 20-1.
