Switch Technician
Requirements:

S.
Citizen o Minimum of 3 years OSP/ISP cable maintenance experience.
o Strong background in Telephone Inside Plant service to include maintenance and service of associated switches, servers and peripheral components, copper and fiber optic cable installation, maintenance.
o CompTia Security
certification.
o Active/recent (last 24 months) U.
S.
government security clearance Desired:
o Avaya CM 6, Version 6.
3 experience.
o Working knowledge of Avaya IP and Siemens HiPath.
Job Description:
o Repair and maintain ISP cable facilities including switches, servers, and associated cabling.
o Assure dependable and uninterrupted operation of telephone communications by proactively identifying problems.
o Identify problems by using electronic testing equipment.
Physical/Mental Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
o Stand, walk, sit, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb.
o Lift and load items over 50 pounds.
o Specific vision requirements:
close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.
Depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
o Perform duties in all weather conditions.
o Drive from work site to work site.
