Project Manager with Security Clearance

General SummaryPosition provides oversight, direction and coordination for all operations and maintenance (O&M) activities at assigned jobsite to ensure adherence to contractual objectives.
Position supervises and coordinates activities of skilled trades workers engaged in maintaining and repairing equipment, structures, utility systems, buildings, and grounds at assigned jobsite.
Essential Duties and Responsibilitieso Perform O & M Management administration functions, handling a variety of actions and problems relating to assigned contract(s).
o Monitor management plans designed to accomplish contractual objectives and provide direction and support to subcontractors, support staff, trades, and crafts.
o Responsible for scheduling of work to be performed.
o Responsible for submitting various monthly progress reports in accordance with contract and J&J requirementso Manages and commits contract resources; monitors budgets on assigned contracts.
o Responsible for safety of all personnel on job, including sub-personnel, compliance with environment standards and quality of work performed.
o Conducts training of staff, as well as safety meetings and briefings.
o Research and address customer and employee complaints.
o Works in field performing maintenance of HVAC systems and the remaining time on Contract Management taskso Additional duties as required.
Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirementso Be technically qualified in the field of Healthcare Facilities Management and shall, as a minimum, have five (5) years' verifiable experience in a Heath Care business occupancy medical facility O&M or a minimum five (5) years' verifiable experience servicing and/or renovating commercial buildings, including management of a diversified work force responsible for operations, maintenance and repair of commercial building infrastructure systems.
o American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) certification is desirable.
o Must be knowledgeable with the various codes and standards applicable to the O&M tasks covered by the PWS, TJC, NFPA, EPA, and OSHA codes and standards.
o Knowledgeable and skilled in the operation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems, fire systems and security systems.
o Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and PPE procedures.
o Ability to conduct accident investigations and safety inspections.
o Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
o Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites and basic computer skills.
o Required to obtain a common access card (CAC).
o Strong written and oral communication skills.
Work Environmento Works in office areas as well as throughout the facility.
o Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
, squat, bend, stoop and kneel for short periods, climb a ladder, stand for long periods of time, constant arm extensions.
o Physical demands include intermittent sitting, standing, and walking, and occasional bending reaching and lifting.
o Limited exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, chemicals, etc.
