They will utilize both basic and advanced program functions to handle various operations, encompassing all administrative tasks associated with this project.
Familiarity with the office unit's terminology is essential for this position.
The Military Personnel Specialist will apply suitable methods from a diverse range of procedures or make simple adaptations and interpretations using a limited number of guides and manuals.
The clerical steps may differ in type or sequence, depending on the specific task at hand.
If any recognized problems arise, they will be referred to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate effectively with representatives from both internal and external organizations, including military and civilian entities, to gather necessary information, complete required tasks, and explain decisions or recommendations to others.
Manage the in/out processing of incoming and outgoing Soldiers at the installation level.
Update military personnel records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Prepare assignment orders and verify assignment eligibility.
Conduct research and calculations related to Active-duty service time.
Organize, analyze, and maintain records while preparing reports in compliance with record-keeping requirements.
Identify oneself as a Contractor employee when answering Government telephones.
Provide clerical and secretarial support to executive and general staff.
Assist with the In-Processing and Out-Processing of AIT Soldiers.
Address large groups of Soldiers publicly.
Perform front desk duties, such as answering phones and scheduling appointments.
Skills & Abilities:
Must have strong computer skills.
Strong verbal and written communication Ability to interpret applicable military regulations, policies, and directives.
Working knowledge of basic office practices, procedures, and equipment.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Must be able to pass a Tier 1 background check Must be able to undergo/pass a drug test High School Diploma/GED required.
Associate's Degree preferred.
Ability to obtain a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) Job Type:
